A faster and safer start to the rescue and fire-fighting operation of the Airport Fire Brigade thanks to co-financing by the the Polish Mutual Insurance Company (TUW PZUW).
The preventive task carried out within the funds allocated from the TUW PZUW preventive fund, in accordance with the contract concluded in 2023.
Purpose of the preventive task
The expansion of existing technical solutions significantly increased mobility and confidence in the response of rescue and fire-fighting vehicle crews and the speed of entry into action in emergency situations.
Description of the preventive task
The following actions will take place in the Airport Fire Brigade Emergency Point Headquarters:
1. Modernization of the control panel and adapting it to work with new solutions.
2. Assembly and installation of monitors at the workstation of the Duty Alarm Point in order to display information necessary during an alarm.
In the garage of the Airport Fire Department the following actions will occur:
1. Modernization of closing/opening of garage doors by using alarm indicators of the operating status of the doors.
2. Installation of CCTV cameras to monitor the garage room.
CCTV cameras will be installed in the external area to monitor the movement of fire vehicles when announcing an alarm and to observe the area adjacent to the fire station building and the movement of vehicles within the Airport Fire Brigade unit.
Co-financing from the TUW PZUW preventive fund amounted to PLN 30,000.00 gross.
