About Airport

More and more passengers fly from the Łódź Airport!

08.01.2024

Łódź Airport was reborn after years of pandemic, when travel was limited and sometimes even impossible. At that time, all airports noted lower statistics and the years 2020 and 2021 cannot be considered reliable. But even compared to 2019, the last "normal" year before the pandemic, the number of passengers in Łódź increased by 48%.

83.3% of travelers checked in by the airport used regular flights to Alicante, Brussels Charleroi, Dublin, London Luton, London Stansted, Milan Bergamo, as well as to destinations that debuted in autumn 2023, i.e. Malaga and East Midlands.

16.6% percent are passengers of the charter planes flying on package holidays organised by travel agencies. Last year you could fly to Bulgaria, Türkiye and the three Greek islands - Crete, Rhodes and Zakythos.

In 2024, Łódź Airport has set itself a very ambitious goal: we aspire to serve half a million passengers. If this happens, it will be the best result in the airport's history.

The management hopes for new connections as well as a good summer charter season. Charters, which usually started in June, will start on April 27 2024. For the first time, you will be able to go on an organized trip to Türkiye for the May holidays. New  destinations will be: Albania, Bodrum, Aegean Türkiye and Tunisia. There will be more charter flights. As many as nine planes will fly from Łódź to Türkiye alone every week.
